Test your smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detector. Replace batteries where necessary.<\/span><\/li>\n
Drain approximately 2 gallons from your water heater to eliminate sediment.<\/span><\/li>\n
Clean your clothes dryer vent duct.<\/span><\/li>\n
Vacuum your bathroom vent covers.<\/span><\/li>\n
Replace or clean your furnace filter.<\/span><\/li>\n
Clean out any basement window wells.<\/span><\/li>\n
Clean the condensation coils on your refrigerator to keep it running as efficiently as possible.<\/span><\/li>\n
Clean around your air conditioning compressor and make sure it has adequate airflow.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/td>\n
